Noise measurement

We carry out noise measurements in accordance with the provisions of DIN 70713.

EMV assessment

We test electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and the electrostatic discharge of products in accordance with the latest standards, such as the factory standards of leading European automobile manufacturers. In addition, we offer testing in accordance with ECE R10 and measurement procedures such as emitted interference as per CISPR 25, interference immunity as per ISO 11452, and pulses as per ISO 7637.

3D measurement

We use an optical measurement method to precisely measure almost all product dimensions.

Climate testing

We offer various procedures to test service life and running time: low- and high-temperature operation, endurance tests for components, as well as electric and electronic systems and mechanical shocks.

Electric tests as per LV124

Elektrosil carries out electric tests as per LV124, DIN VDE and UL.

Airflow rate measurement

We carry out electric, mechanical and fluid mechanical measurements to determine the airflow rate.

The development of components and assemblies is often accompanied by the requirement to certify these products in accordance with country-specific or international stipulations. Measurement system for mechanical dimensions

For 3D coordinate measurement.

Our 3D measurement system combines optical and tactile measurement procedures and has an automatic switch changing station. It allows for the quick and precise measurement of almost every dimension of our products. The measurement machine is used for sampling, as well as for the regular inspection of incoming goods. In addition to the automatic logging and assessment of measurement results, the finest of details can be documented in the image using the high-performance optics.

Cable testing systems

CT-7 PC cable tester and Adaptronic high-voltage testers for cables.

The high-voltage tester for cables and cable harnesses is able to test up to 256 test points for different characteristics (e.g. dielectric strength, resistance, capacity, diodes or LED function) in a matter of seconds. The cable or cable harness is connected using a test adapter and examined in accordance with the measurement program. This measurement program can be programmed automatically using a reference sample or prepared using software.

Various manual fan testers and automatic fan testers/test area.

All the main characteristics, for example power consumption, rotation speed, voltage curves, input and output signals, vibration behaviour and airflow rate, can be determined in the fan test area. The work spectrum in the test area ranges from individual checks on prototypes to continuous 100% testing of series products.

Environmental simulation

Client-specific test rigs

Elektrosil develops in-house measurement rigs for testing geared towards client-specific solutions, which are specifically tailored to the challenge at hand. This allows several of the necessary measurements to be carried out on a single test rig.

An important factor here is the simulation of the installation and the final product position, in order to come as close as possible to the future operating environment. An example of this is the placement of car seats and the realistic room volumes around them, in order to observe the microclimate behaviour (see side image).
