Our customised silicone-rubber keypads combine efficiency with a wealth of design options. Colour, Shore hardness of the material and surface coatings can be chosen at will. Plastic keycaps or illuminated key symbols are also options. We deliver silicone-rubber keypads as complete units with printed circuit boards or membrane switching packs, or with customised housing or housing fronts.

Silicone-rubber keypads, made from durable silicone rubber, are cost-effective keypad solutions. They include the following options:

A tactile response depends on the key shape chosen.


Service life

The mechanical service life of the keypad depends on the actuating force, Shore hardness, switching path and the key shape.

Higher actuating forces reduce the service life. The other parameters remain the same.

Below are some options for the mechanical mounting of silicone-rubber keypads.

An additional special rubber seal between the keypad and the plastic covering offers especially good protection against environmental factors.
