The world's first fan that is both waterproof and dustproof, and meets the IP68 standard! TÜV approved!

Elektrosil has developed with his partner (Protechnic, Taiwan), an innovative production process for fans, with the guarante of IP68 protection (water-and dust-tight).

Previous methods of coating, including the vacuum, are very costly to realize, the degree of protection not as a whole and thus tend to reach only IP54 protection. The new process will be completely dispensed with the casting of the stator, and other components.

The high protection class of IP68 is made possible by the patented construction design of the fan, in which all electrical components are encapsulated - including stator - in one case. An inner fluid mechanical arrangement creates an overpressure in the housing, that hold out the dust and water from the storage system. The degree of protection therefore refers to all components, electrical and mechanical. The fan also meets all the requirements for increased environmental influences.

Adherence to protection class IP68 is determined by the production process guarantees, as the leak test of the stator is already integrated as a step in the manufacturing process. In addition to all other steps the tightness of the stator is to 100% tested. The new patented IP68 protection was tested in the pilot test and confirmed by TÜV Rheinland in a certificate.
